Icon5 Metal debris on dial

Looking at the dial in bright sunlight the other day, I noticed what appears to be some sort of loose metallic (possibly bronze?) debris. (see the loop of GREEN letter R).
One gentle tap dislodged it and sent it resting near the 9 o'clock index.
Today I can't find it, could have even fallen through the date window.
The watch works just fine and I won't be dealing with it as long as it stays so but I would be interested to know what you guys think it might be.

Thanks

If it's coppery bronze, could be a chip off a gear tooth... just guessing.

My thought too...

Yes it did look reddish quite like copper.

A couple years ago had once my date wheel stuck half way after midnight. A manual change back and forth and it never did it again. That could have been the culprit, who knows.

Date wheel could be jarred off its rails in a hard knock, think most of its driving bits are silvery metal though - again just guessing.

Meh, don't lose sleep over it unless movement is jamming up. Over the years have been blowing out quite a bit of debris from inside various cases but they still keep ticking; I just do dusting because i'm OCD.

Thanks, I won't. Especially as long as everything works alright. Just being curious, that's all...
