I am an Apple geek and fanboy to say the least. I do agree with this statement completely. Not a lot of HUGE leaps and this really should have just been a 12S not a 13. The camera and video upgrades seem huge for someone who really knows video and needs that. The section on the video production was pretty cool. Really for me the only nice change will be the longer battery life.

I am getting the Pro Max silver in 256. As per usual the wife gets the hand me down Blue 12 Pro Max 128 bought one year ago. We will sell her 11 Pro Max for $500 or so like normal.

Agreed. I had the first several editions of the iPhone and now have to say that despite the “planned obsolescence” if these the fact that my iPhone 7 is still working just great since like 2016 is a testament to the quality. I am sure someone more tech savvy than myself, can find use or value in the upgrades but I’ll probably wait until they no longer support the 7 and then make the jump to the next one.

You'll enjoy it when you do! Takes a few days/weeks to get used to and then it's game changing.

Funny how it looks oddly like the Magic Mouse sitting in front of me
