? Was the main difference between the 2, a different movement with quick set on the GMT II ?

Also am I correct that this took place around year 2000 ?

Earlier.
It took place with the 16760. The “2” is the jump hour not the quickset which came with the 16750.

So the quick set came between the 4 and 5 digit ref ?
