There was nothing said about randomization; it's data mining.

It came up with a pretty solid 5 that I would enjoy wearing. But for now here’s my top 5:

Submariner
Tag Heuer Formula One
Seiko Weekdater
Casio Gshock
Timex Marlin w/Snoopy on the dial

1. F. P. Journe Chronometre A Resonance 1499.3RT
2. A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst
3. Greubel Forsey Hand Made 1
4. Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time Advanced Research 5650G-001
5. Rolex GMT-Master II 126719BLRO Meteorite

And I would still loose sleep over not having Journe Centigraphe, Lange Zeitwerk and at least one simple but perfect Rolex Submariner.

It said:
Submariner
Omega moonwatch
Nautilus
Royal Oak
Cartier Tank

Maybe it tried to not be biased and give 5 different brands. But interesting to see what 5 it gave.

Personally. In a 5 watch collection the RO and Nautilus are too similar. Not sure about the tank either, personally would put a reverso in before that. Also Daytona over moonwatch? But this is the Rolex forum after all.

Mine would probably go:
Submariner
Daytona
Royal Oak
Day Date YG
Patek 3940

Maybe a more human touch.

Actually a damn good list. Each the standard bearer in its category….

No, no, no... You don't understand what I am saying. If it selected watches more off the beaten path, like a Milgaus or a Zenith Defy, for example, its algorithm would have to be more randomized and less systematic. Therefore, the results would be less predictable, and also less credible to the masses...

I personally like ChatGPT's choices better than most other selections posted here.

One other thing...

Saying ChatGPT is just data mining, is like saying a light bulb is just a candle.

It's hard to argue with the 5 it chose.
