According to some in this thread I have been doing it all wrong.

I have been driving up and down the Pacific Coast Highway on motorcycles and in sports cars...

I should have been walking up and down it wearing a Gold watch.. I had no idea. The excitement of knowing what time it is + or - 2 as I walk up that highway cannot even be calculated.

No it doesn’t.

New line of Bentleys hold value very strong surprisingly. I sold my last Bentley for 10k under sticker a year later with 10k miles.

If you buy an Aston Martin new, you lost 30-40% just walking out the door before even putting a mile on the car… It’s a shame, really pretty cars especially the DBS.

brah, you didn't get the memo?

it is super exciting/exhilarating to look at your wrist. there is really no comparison.

personally, I have always loved watches. since I was a little kid. and sometimes, some of them, when I look at them, they give me the tingles.

but sooooo many cars give me the tingles by just looking at them. far more so than a watch ever could. just by looking at them. but that part is subjective and based preference.

but then you get to open the door and sit in it. followed by starting the engine and hearing the exhaust note. to top it all off, you get to actually drive these machines and feel the torque and feel the car as you shift gears, and accelerate through turns...

watches are great. obviously. but in terms of exhilaration. hard to compare costs on life experiences. and driving is an experience. the car you are driving adds to that experience.

and hey, again....it is just an advertisement.

If really want to enhance the experience wear a Fitbit on the other wrist and just watch your step count rise until you reach 10,000 steps. The little firework display will change your life.

Oh it is Friday and I am just being silly.

I do hope I can reach out to Rolex and get them to sponsor me. I will take a nice Gold Day Date for my walk..

Although a Submariner might be better for when I get bored of walking and just dive into the ocean.

If you take them all away with your charm, then yes, it could happen. But without it, we have nothing to fear of, as we have quite a lot of masseuses here

Isn't Aston Martin's reliability up there with Maserati? Many of their owners have to buy a Toyota for use, while their car is off being diagnosed and patched together?
