I did some further digging into this bracelet and found out that these bracelets were date stamped only up until 1972, though I can't find one with a date stamp. Not my photo.

1973 and every year after there are no date stamp or bracelet number markings. My Photo.

Clasps marked with 92908 are later or replacements. Not My Photo.

Most models were fitted with a 9290/8 and the early clasp had a raided crown at the end of the clasp with flip lock. Not My Photo.

Later clasps( 4 Million onwards ) had the impressed crown in the center of the clasp, as did later service replacement bracelets. This is mine and has been worked down.

End pieces have no markings. My Photo.

The divers extension was labled as its steel counterpart with " Pat Pending" or "Patented" depending on the age of the watch.

I found this Bracelet for sale VRF Tapatalk
Described as ( rolex 18k submariner oyster bracelet 9290/8 for a rolex 18k 1680/8 bracelet)
It is very similar to my bracelet only difference is the raised crown at the end of the clasp with the fliplock as mine has the impressed crown.

I will continue to investigate this model and bracelet and post updates as I continue to research.

P.S. If anyone has any photos of one bracelet with the date stamp I would love a P.M.

I have one of these. I think there is a "D" on it dating it to 1979, consistent with the serial number 58XXXXX. I will try to add a photo.

I'm interested in the solid/rivet/pin question and photos would be appreciated. Mine has a few one-sided "pins" with no hole opposite.

I recently picked up another with DS K9 September 1986
No Pat Pending or Pending on Divers Extension
Mine is pins and not screw but go thru to both sides
