I'm a believer that material goods can definitely provide enjoyment and happiness (it's not all you need, but they can certainly contribute). Yes relationships are the best. And trips, experiences, and memories are great, and have unlimited value. But to me, a watch, or a car, hi-fi audio, or a {} has renewable (but probably marginally decreasing) enjoyment, e.g. everytime you look at your watch you re-up your enjoyment factor.

Anyone else justify their watch purchases this way!?
