Looking for dials with art on them, can someone help?

Hi All,

I've been in the market for quite some time for a nice automatic watch with a dial that contains art (some sort of imaginative art). I've seen some very expensive high end models with art on the dial but nothing in the sub 5000 dollar range.

Here are examples of what i'm talking about:

L Duchen (moderately priced around 3k)
Some super expensive JLC watches (above 50k)

My price range is only up to 1000 (i'm open to basically any brands even chinese ones)

Thank you!

Tough call partly because what you describe as art can be done on the cheap by stamping something on the dial or actual hand painting. And the subject matter is also pretty subjective.

I'm sure there are cheap Chinese watches with cheap movements and stamped "art" that can be had pretty cheaply and then there are higher end watches with good movements and hand painted dials that are in the stratosphere.

Good luck in your search but your criteria should possibly be better defined.

Buy a watch and commission someone to make you a dial to your specs. Local high-end artist supply store is who'd I'd ask, or if you have an artists community, museum... etc.
