The first video- the HODINKEE one, is excellent;
A HODINKEE write up on the Snowflake, introduced me to Grand Seiko ,I’m now an enthusiastic convert ! Coming from a “Rolex only” mindset .... GS is a brave new world ! - worth exploring!

Two sets of 24hr numbers and a luminous bezel raise this one above any Rolex GMT for practicality, IMO.

Congratulations... beautiful watches. I went through the same process a few months back. Finally stopped and actually looked at the GS offerings and couldn’t believe what I was missing. The SBGE201 is probably my favorite watch in my collection. Enjoy!

You’re so right: brave new world! Actually I feel now that my earlier ”Rolex only” -mindset was quite narrow minded. The history of watches is so deep&rich!
Funny:
Rolex itself (R-shortage, arrogance and poor customer service) made me to look for other options!

That they are limited, that gives the extra kick!!

For example my Rolex ”Hulk”:
How many thousands of Hulk’s are out there?

With these limited Grand Seiko’s:
SBGM235G: only 1000pcs
SBGE245G: : only 600pcs

Wow!
