Update on Tomovich
I just got the following off Tom's website.
(Medical update) NOTICE : It is 24 June. The PICC line has been removed and I am off the IV antibiotics. I have so many stinkin' holes in my arms from needles it's pitiful! But at least the blood cultures are finally NEGATIVE, no more MRSA apparantly. Thank GOD. The abdominal wound (hole!) with the "wound vac" is making good progress but it's still big (down to about 8" across by about 2" up and down and about 2" DEEP! Ugh!) and will not be healed shut for about another month or so. It was originally twice as large! It still needs these nurses coming here to change the dressings every two days. I should start working again real soon as I'm feeling much more "normal". I'll have to stay away from the intense dust of the grip making for a while however. Slowly but surely things are getting back to normal. I apologize SO MUCH for any and all delays. Believe me, I don't want to be "here"...................Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding................. |

Thanks for the update, Adrian. I can't believe what Tom is having to go through with this. I feel like it's unfair, but it could be any of us. I'm glad he's strong enough to deal with it. I look forward to seeing him back at his work, and back to forum chatting.

It's all part of the free service provided by this wonderful forum.
Here's an old picture I found of Tom, just so we don't forget what he looks like. Further to this, I found this link to more of Tom's pictures. Even though he can't be with us in person at the moment we can still involve him in this forum. http://www.ycsi.net/users/gunsmith/pictures.htm Last edited by Uncle-AJ; 29 June 2005 at 01:50 AM..
