FS: 1984 Rolex Sea-Dweller “Triple Six”
 Offered for sale is my Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 16660 AKA the “Triple Six”. The triple six was a transitional reference introduced in 1978 and its production ran until 1989. This watch’s serial number dates it to approximately 1984. The 16660 featured a few big improvements from its predecessor such as a sapphire crystal, quickset date, unidirectional bezel, and a larger helium escape valve. These improvements advanced the depth rating of the watch to 4,000 feet, as opposed to the 2,000 feet the previous reference 1665 could withstand. An excellent piece of Rolex history and a quintessential part of the Sea-Dweller lineage. The 40mm case remains thick and strong showing some signs of wear. Bezel insert shows wear and has a nicely patina’d pip. Glossy tritium dial is in very nice condition with nice creamy lume markers. Tritium hands have aged slightly lighter and the lume is beginning to crack. Fitted with 593 solid end links and a 93160 bracelet with 10 links and dive extension showing light stretch. The clasp code indicates a 1984 year. No box or papers. Offered at $10,500 shipped fully insured overnight in the US, payment by bank wire preferred.
