Icon5 Opinion on this 16660 please

I m looking for feedback on this 16660 I saw on a local buy sell website . The bracelet in the first picture looks odd.

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watc...0679?undefined

Seller says Sothebys appraised this one as within 1% of the best examples with regards to patina , originality and condition.

Sorry but there are much better examples out there. That comment by Sotheby's cant be serious. The pictures are with 3 different bracelets and it never came with a jubilee. Hands are gone and it looks like moisture damage on the markers.

Definitely seems like it has been played with or has had a MAJOR overhaul done in the past. Hands are corroded past the point of intrinsic 'beauty', looks like lugs/guards have been heavily polished down and not an OG bracelet in sight. The patina is def cool but not that cool imo

That would be for the bin if it was mine, used beyond any further use. Buy a new one. I don’t get why old crap like this is desirable or why it has any value beyond parts.
