5508/5510 James Bond Dial?

Hi fellow vintage lovers,

Not too long ago this dial came into my possession.
I still consider myself a vintage Noob, so i would love to get a more knowledgeable opinion from you guys
Am i right if i state that this is a 5508 "James Bond" dial or is it from a 5510 Big Crown James Bond?
I am torn about the condition it is in, it's in near mint condition but it makes me wonder if it has ever been refinished...

Neither the 5508 nor 5510 have anything to do with 'James Bond'. Sorry.

I also doubt that dial has anything to do with rolex

Not original Rolex?
Even when Singer is stamped on the back?

It it's really "stamped" you can be sure it's not original. Seriously, it MAY be a really poor redial on an original dial plate but I'm 99% sure that it didn't leave the Rolex factory that way.

I hope you didn’t pay a lot for that.

You've hit the nail on the head - it looks new. Like it was made in the last 10 years.

Marked base plate just means you either have a fake, or a reprinted 26.5mm dial.

These threads are becoming way too common.
“What do you think of my .....?”

It’s junk. That’s what I think.
