LEC on the Ceramic Daytona

Hi to all Rolex enthusiasts and experts,

I noticed my 116500LN (panda dial) LEC at 6 o'clock is different from my other pre-ceramic and ceramic sub and gmt. The crown on the panda has a double pararell oval line at the bottom of the coronet instead of the normal single line. The LEC is really hard to see on the white panda dial but using a 15x loupe at an angle can clearly see this. I have asked the local RSC to verify if this LEC is different but they said are the same with others which clearly is not. Guess someone with the black dial can spot this much clearer but must use a good 15x loupe as the normal 10x may be harder to spot this minute variation. Thanks in advance for your input.

The different coronet types are due to the different anti reflective treatments on different models. Some have anti reflective under the cyclops, others have the whole underside of the glass treated and others have the treatment on both sides.

Standard coronet - no coating or coating just on and under the cyclops
Double coronet - Whole surface anti reflective treatment on the inside of the glass
Double coronet with a single line through it - anti reflective on both inside and outside of the glass.

It depends on the age and model type. If you have a double coronet (a smaller coronet inside the larger one) then the glass on your 116500 has a full coating on the inside of the glass.
