Buuuut, you probably can do a bit better than 16% over mSRP on a one month old watch. I mean, I don't think that's crazy high in today's market, but you can probably do better.

It's amazing how fast the market is changing on these things.

Keep in mind that if you're paying a premium, you're not buying from a boutique and therefore probably not paying sales tax. Factor that in and the premium may sting a little less.

Prices have gone WILD on these. Theyre like 24k now. You scored my friend. This all happened in the past few months.

Crazy market..

Yeah, I was glad that I get to buy it at the list price (and before the potential price hike!).. I have a feeling that 15400 will get a price bump next year.. Just my wild guess.. !

I think my taste never changed.. before I knew anything about AP.. I bought (or rather, my parents did) this Seiko when I was in elementary school, because I love the octagon shape and the rivets.

Little did I know that it was a homage to the original Royal Oak.. (the Seiko was around 30 years old, maybe a little bit more)

Anyway, amusing looking back.. !

Congrats on the new addition, mine says "hi." That's a really cool story with the Seiko, as well.

Putting a 30% deposit is standard with AP. I heard many stories that the delivery is much faster with a deposit and this is in many countries across the globe.

I booked a 15202 in Paris Boutique in May this years promised for December. The watch was ready in September. They did increase the price though.

They take you more seriously with a deposit.

Got mine this week after 3 months of wait. All the wait was worthwhile!

Congrats!! 3 months is very good! Better than my wait! But I was just glad that it didn’t drag into next year and risking a possible price increase!!

I was looking at the AP website and noticed that they don't have the blue dial model under the "boutique exclusive" list anymore. Does anyone know what happened?? In fact the only "boutique exclusive" model in the Royal Oak range is the Openworked Extra thin Tourbillon.

Goes with their moves be be a boutique only retailer so in essence all models will eventually be BO!

But for the time being I wouldn’t look too much into it as the 15407st has never been listed as a BO model yet I’m still to hear of one ever being sold by an AD!

Congratulations! Mine arrived a couple of weeks back - similar wait time.

It is an awesome piece. Enjoy it!

If along the line you don't get comfortable with the condition of things, you could possibly ask for a refund of cash

In case anyone is looking for a 15400st ruthenium dial, the HK boutique has one in stock. Not sure if it is spoken for though.

The blue looks so good I think it is worth wait and potential price increase. Also, don't be surprised if watch arrives sooner than promised. Good luck.

Very interesting. We don't have a boutique in Canada so the AD at times was able to get the blue 15400, 15450, 15202 (extremely hard and limited but possible). Perhaps they have revisited this "exclusive" moniker.
