Verification service in northern virginia

I have a 1930's vintage rolex that i need to find out whether or not it's authentic. Does anyone have a recommendation where to go? I already called the local authorized dealer and they said they don't offer that service

Post a pix here would help, at least we could see it and tell you where the best place to send it might be

Let me know what shop it is. I am looking for the same thing. The AD here in NOVA said that they could only send it to RSC to have it authenticated. Really?!

Here is a couple in the Northern Va area.
John Alabaster is located in the heart of Vienna. He has worked for Rolex for 35 years before retiring here having his own shop. Now nearing 80 he is still going strong. He started working for Rolex Geneva in the 50's. Chances are that he is familiar with your 30's watch.
He is in his shop on Fridays and Saturdays only.

The one above is in Lorton, Va. I have been there once and the place looks good and promising. They have a Rolex Diving Helmet on display in the front and other oddities too. Worth a visit to have your Rolex service.
