Illumination
Is there a prescribed amount of time that the markers on the face are suppose to stay illuminated when one goes into a dark room [i.e., a movie theatre]? Thanks.

Depends on the model and type of lume - can you give us a bit more detail?

Short answer no but Rolex lume is not the best but if charged with a strong light first either daylight or artificial. Then it should glow for a reasonable amount of time in a very dark room..

Lume's not too bad on a 14060M, the sports dials help - with a full charge (SuperLuminova, which, I expect, your watch has is light activated), it should be visible for most of the night, but even with a partial charge, it should be visible for a few hours. It won't glow extremely brightly for more than a few minutes, but it will be visible

Rolex lume is the worst out of all the brands I enjoy.
The new blue lume does seem to hold it's brightness a bit longer and charges really fast, I love it.
