Should I swab one of my 14060M?
Hi friends of RF, I need an advice.
I own two 14060M, no COSC (first graduation gift) and a COSC. I've recetly tooken a 16570 white dial (I love the cyclop/GMF function and I've never owened a white dial). I've always loved the date sub, but for various reason I've never owened one, yet. Should I swab my COSC sub + money for a sub date? |

Hi Marco,
I would keep the cosc 14060M and swap the non-cosc. If Rolex do change the 14060M (ceramic bezel, big case?) the COSC version would be a nice one to have IMO.

I would say the opposite. The non cosc will be the new 5513. And the non cosc may have some sentimental value.

Another vote for keeping the NON cosc, not only because of the sentimental value, but also because it is already more classic/collectible.

The gift is untouchable...so if I'd go for a swap I'll swap the COSC...I love both of them! But I really desire a sub data...!!!

I'd keep the one that was a gift (COSC or not). That's the one you'll be glad you kept in 20 years.

Yes, diversification is in order; particulary when you own two of the same watches. The polar Exp II is a great choice from a diversification perspective; white dial and 3185/6.
