Forum is getting very slow

Over the last few days the forum is getting slower, just now it duplicated one of my posts.

Not sure if any of the mods are aware.

Same issue as Brian. I had a double post after waiting a longer time for the page to load, and have been seeing longer load times since mid morning.

Seems normal to me at the moment, although I wasn't on earlier....
Are you accessing via Tapatalk?

I'll make sure to check on both peak, and off peak user times, to see if I get any lagging in response times.

Rob
#5 & #6 of yours is an example of the symptom. I’m on TapaTalk if that helps.

I’ve cleared my TapaTalk cache - not getting the dupe post error message.

Might be a sync issue with the TapaTalk server?

Exactly what is happening in the forum. If you look at some of the recent threads, there are a lot of double posts, with the user editing the second. I just had it again from using the desktop.

OK we'll monitor this.
We did recently update the web server.
Maybe you may need to delete and reinstall the Tapatalk app as it may be storing old settings. (this is just a guess).
But as I said we will keep monitoring this and will make changes as we may believe they are necessary to ensure smooth seamless operation of the website.

Site’s still slow when replying or starting threads. Normal page browsing speeds are fine.

Hosting issue?

What about now...

Actually yes I agree it is very slow when making a post....
As I understand it this lag in time between making a post and it actually posting has only started happening in the last few days?

Still working on this, please be patient, it maybe quick fix, but identifying the precise cure is not straightforward.
Thank you

I believe all the ‘got the call’ and ‘is it safe’ threads broke the Forum.

Seems like the pages are loading fast but when posting a reply there is a 10-20 second lag in response time, leading to double posts.

I'm still working on a fix, I have an idea what it is but need to get tech support.
