The first generation Aztec is especially pretty awkward, but it was a bit ahead of its time, in terms of being a cross over.

My best friend owned one of these and absolutely loved it. It was ugly as hell but had so many cool feartures like the built in coller center console, the seats and audio controls at the tailgate, the tent attachment. Pretty revolutionary for its time, but yeah butt ugly

I had an allegro as my pub car
Drive to the pub walk home pick it up the next day
Lost the keys so I put a kill switch and a big red start button on the dash
I knew it was safe
no one would steel it!

Pretty amazing. Must have been a young audience when you consider all the older ugly cars that have been made here. The Aztec is pretty far down the list.

Hahaha!
It has a strong flavour of BMW about it, don't you think.
They seem to be carrying on the tradition lately.

Most front ends of the latest BMWs rank up there with the ugliest.

I think it's an earlier version of this Japanese model with crash resistant body panels.

IMHO, it’s far ghastlier in person. I don’t know how these cars get by whatever committee that has to approve them.

They are only photos of ugly cars unless you've actually owned and driven one, then it's REAL ugliness. In my case because we were too poor for a decent car. AMC Gremlin.

My 1976 Dodge Aspen four-door sedan was a low point in the company’s styling. But the price was right. Practically given to me after my aunt’s death. No one else in the family wanted it.

It's interesting in that the guy that drew the Aztec also drew the Corvette C6.

bmw 7-series in my opinion. looks like design aspects from the 1970s, 1980s, and 2010s were all combined.

the starting $114k sticker price makes it even uglier.

Stutz, 2CV and Ranchero are some of the most beautiful cars in the world.

Those new BMWs! If you didn't know what it was you'd think it was something that came out of China.
That Ranchero is something else. The Titanic on wheels. About that front overhang.
