Wrong, Seiko didn't do anything. The name "Tuna" was not one that Seiko created. Seiko just made a watch with a similar deign that is slightly smaller/cheaper/more manageable for a new generation of watch enthusiast.

Actually, your statement brings me full circle back to my point. Calling a "slightly, smaller/cheaper/more manageable" I'll add less capable watch of "similar design" a Tuna erodes the name of a legendary series of watches.

All Seiko did was make a very robust tool watch...possibly too robust and happened to look like a hockey puck....or a tuna can.

All I know is I love my 6159-7010...
