Help ID Pepsi Insert- Bright Red but faded Blue

Can anyone help me identify one of my bezel inserts. Im not familiar with the GMT inserts...Ive had this in my parts bin for many years and forgot about it.

The red is brilliant red- almost looks fake, yet the blue is nearly completely faded.
The back is red

My first thought is that someone tried to age the bezel, but the back is solid and doesn't appear treated. Seems odd that only the blue faded while the red remains vibrant, and perfectly on the line.

Insert is fine. No tampering/bleaching.

I've seen them both ways, including a complete breakdown of the red color instead.

Nice insert!

Agreed. So many variations with these. Different dyes used respond to UV fading differently. Earlier gilt dial types tend to retain strong blue but totally washed out red, and some fade evenly all over.

Interesting. I always expect the red to fade first. Certainly that’s been my experience. Always learning.
