Since it says on the top "closed" it must be closed!!!

I think according to TRF rules, one cannot initiate "should I sell my watch?" threads here (i.e. outside the "classifieds").

I can’t read the OP’s mind, but a skeptic could read that post as trolling for a sale.

Mr G is probably correct as to the technical reason.

But also, asking unanswerable questions isn’t ideal.

Like asking “should I dress to the left or right at work tomorrow?”

Because it's a sales thread that should have been deleted, rather than merely closed.

Do you think that your "stupid question" is a Rolex Watch related topic that belongs in the Rolex Watch Topic Boards. ?

Maybe because people ask that question a lot and sometimes those threads turn a little ugly?

Maybe because it could be seen as a hint that the OP is trying to sell the watch

Unfortunately, it’s illustrative of the majority of threads being posted.

Should I buy?
Should I sell?
Should I trade?
Did you see how much “so-and-so” is selling “X” model Rolex for?
Do you think it is appropriate for “so-and-so” to be selling “X” model for $$$?
Should “so-and-so” be reported to Rolex?
Do you know what my AD told me?
My AD has no SS Rolex in stock.
MY AD wants me to buy a diamond ring before selling me a Rolex.
Can my AD require me to buy a diamond ring before selling me a Rolex?
How can my AD sell me a Rolex if he has none in stock?
Is it safe to go on a Rolex waiting list?

In the future, of course, we will consult with you prior to making any mod decisions.
