Nice! Enjoy!!

This year Rod Laver grounds are in a bit of a mess with many areas hoarded up for demolition/construction.

Thought in previous years there was a Rolex promo booth but didn't see any yesterday, blind me might've missed it. This year Disney & Marvel money have come in though... vs last year it was only Nickelodeon.

RFed still sporting pink. Been a few years since he unboxed those pink Nikes huh. Go Rog!

Only reason to watch Ellen but I'm a tennis equipment geek too.

Mr Seiko hijacks players meeting to demand ATP pay rises

He wants RWC/AP/RM too?

Gotta admit, baby Nicky is doing well... has he finally grown up?? he's definitely got the right moves from shoulders down, hope that young chassis can survive the distance.

Just saw this thread, I just got back from the tennis, got to see Rafa and Roger on Rod Laver arena. It’s the first time I’ve been and was blown away how good a facility they have in Melbourne

Amazing quality of matches. Regardless of the final result, the tennis played is pure pleasure to watch - especially in these stages.
Hopefully, many children and young players have been watching.
Not getting much sleep these days, given the time difference, but it is well worth of little extra afternoon nap :-)

yeah Melbourne Park is pretty decent setup... they've spent 30yrs getting it right should be better when all the renos are completed. Few yrs back they too made a big mess when putting a roof on Margaret Court, that's one well-treasured facility now.

Funny that they haven't bothered removing "Hisense" from the signs even though sponsorship money stopped 2yrs ago

Biggest drawback with tennis centre is lack of parking, absolutely zero. True it's possibly unnecessary for most punters & there's a trams top nearby, but if they want to sell corporate junket tickets for thousand+ including parking... umm the included parking far away at MCG & needing to walk 30mins to cross the dividing road is a bit naff.

Possibly that's only advantage for Kooyong.

haha just recalled when AO was at Kooyong main sponsor was Marlboro.

The naming rights deal just expired December. 31st so they are getting some free advertising impressions.

The cost of removing the signage would exceed the cost of putting it up years ago. I’m thinking the arena is still in negotiations...

Possibly.

Just have zero desire to buy anything Hisense... didn't think much of their products then, don't even care if they're still around today

Anyone else annoyed by the Kia Stinger ads!? (ad has road line marker falling asleep at wheel and drawing wavy lines not straight. Next morning the Stinger drives these wavy lines... uh, ok...) Total turnoff to any interest in buying that car, if the $60k price tag didn't dissuade already.

Hope it was the work experience kid who wrote that ad script, IMHO Don Draper would be mortified!

Doesn't matter, Fed's through in straights.

These postmatch interviews are dragging on... Jimmy C used to be ok but this year he's sounding boring & clutching at straws to find stuff to yak on. Bring back Ron Burgundy!!

Oh shoot... Fed forgets to put a watch on today!!!

I’ve always been a huge tennis fan, ever since the Borg/McEnroe days.

Since I’m of Swiss heritage, I naturally cheer for Federer
