Not sure how I missed this thread before. Some exceptional photographs here...worthy of some glossy watch magazine. Thank you for sharing!

This is exactly what it means for a picture to speak a million words, outstanding shots, those pictures really worth whatever efforts they took to capture them.

Certainly hope the new 2021 explorer 2 will have a new

New proprietary Hardened form of ceramic bezel.

Specially invented for the explorer2 only...

Resistance to scratch and crack.

And we will see the new polar to have a huge premium

Would be exciting to see a change like that but I'm not sure if Rolex would go ceramic on the explorer II since it's roots are as a cave exploring tool watch. I have heard that the theory is that a steel bezel will scratch or dent but not shatter if you smack it with force against a cave wall, whereas a ceramic bezel might. But I guess you never know what the next iteration might be like. Maybe even go ceramic and call it the Explorer III

Thank you, always nice to hear that. I'm not a photographer, just a Guy that likes watches and uses photography as a self therapy after a looong day

Honestly, I hope they will keep the steel bezel. It's the only "tool" Rolex in the lineup and ceramic bezel would only make it Office proof.

Probably about as many Exp II owners go in caves as Sub owners go diving.

Great work OP!

These are some of the best watch photos I've ever seen (not to mention one of my favorite Rolex references is the subject)
