OP...
All the way. In my view the Explorer is not an attractive-looking watch.

I had the same choice. In the end I went with the Explorer and have no regrets. Love it.

Explorer no question though the white dial OP is quite nice.

Explorer for me. I prefer the sportier look and history behind it.

While perhaps not two of the “hot” references of the day, I love them both. Prior to buying my Exp I had the opportunity to buy a ND SubC from an AD at retail. I turned it down in favor of the Exp. The AD thought I was insane, and from time to time I start to wonder, but I always come back to believing I made the right choice for me.

I had an Explorer 1 39 mm. Looks great, and I really like the 3-6-9 dial.

Another vote for the Explorer's bezel.

Maybe one day they'll make a white dial Explorer.

Personally the OP looks a bit more refined (love the crown at 12), and the Exp a little more adventurous (lumo dot on the sweep, etc).

How do you roll daily? 4 wheel drive, or luxury car? Backpack or brief case? Dress slacks or jeans? I would consider those types of things in making my decision. Ultimately the one that spoke loudest to me would be the pick regardless.

I don't envy your position having to choose one. Good luck.
