That's hilarious! :)

Is that at Augusta? I took our D200 this year and took 1200 pics, now that I have the 8gb card though this year will be a different story....

not sure where the photographer photo was made.... I got it off the net and used it as a joke with a friend who is a Canon shooter.... I'm a Nikonian, like you shooting a D200 and loving it! Cheers, Bill P.

My wife has been out of town this week....
....since I don't drink, smoke, gamble or run around, I ended up with this instead! ;~) It is a pristine "pre-owned" one from an amateur photographer Nikonian in Boston. Yes, they are fantastic cameras! The lens that is mounted is my "Swiss Army knife" lens.... my 4 yr old 24-120 3.5-5.6 VR, the lens I got with my first D100 in July 2003. Cheers, Bill P.

It's supposed to be idiot proof. Let's just say I'm definitely putting it to the test.

It would be nice if Nikon made a full frame DSLR since all of my lenses except one are designed for full frame.

You can use legacy Nikon glass on a DX format DSLR camera... I do it all the time. Manual focus, manual aperture, no metering... it's back to basics.

Film Camera.
Nikon FM2 with manual Nikkor 50mm f/1.4
Nikon F5 with Nikkor 20mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2.0, 80-200 f/2.8. Nikon Flash.
Contax TVS III
Yashica T4

Digital Camera and Camcorder
Panasonic DMC-TZ3
Victor/JVC HD7 Everio (Japanese model) got it from Japan few months ago.

Love them all. But, lately, I like smaller camera. It easy to carry everywhere. But, very limited capable.

Future camera

Try to get D300 with 17-55mm f/2.8G lens and new flash. And replace my old 80-200 f/2.8 with a new 70-200mm f/2.8D VR

Well Nikon finally released a full frame camera...4 months after my last post. Unfortunately the $5k price tag is more then I want to spend at this time. Hopefully they will produce one in 2 or 3 years that will be below the $2500 mark.

Until then, I just ordered myself a Nikon D300. I was going to keep my D200 and skip the D300, but the reviews and samples have been too good.

Bye-bye D200, Hello D300. :)

I have several:

My main rig is a Canon 40D. I also have a 20D body and an SD700IS, which is the camera I have with me most of the time.

Lenses for the 40D include:

EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS,
EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5,
EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS
EF 50 f/1.4.
