They look fantastic. Maybe a trip to the boutique is in order, just to take a look as the patina case of the 992.

I recently dropped my 233 off for service at the Houston boutique and I got to try both of these models on while I was there. They are very nice in person and fit my 6.5” wrist beautifully. I love the straps that come on them. It’s like an antiqued/vintage version of the Ponte Vecchio strap. The boutique manager said the strap should be available for purchase by Summer 2020.

Love the PAM sandwich dial. Traded for one that didn’t have it and almost regret it.

The 992 is my choice but I wouldn’t mind owning both watches.

Some pics of my PAM 992, had it just less than a week. I actually had a deposit down for the 931, but when I got the call it was in, I raced down and also saw the 992. The 931 is beautiful, but the dial is lighter and more colorful than I thought. Soon as the 992 was on my wrist, I knew it's the right one. The new patina - aged steel - looks great, and all of the elements from various previous and vintage designs come together so well in this 45mm Radiomir case.

There is also an excellent review - best I have seen so far - by SJX Watches. It really details very well all of the features, including a description of the aged steel process. It is a few extra steps to complete this finish, but with all other features of this watch, blued hands, sandwich dial, great sapphire crystal which emulates the distortion of plexiglass really well, and upgrades to the P.5000 movement, including hacking seconds, I feel it really is a lot of watch for the price. Cheers,
