Very beautiful!! A great addition.

Do you keep multiple pens on the go at once, or just stick to one for a few days then swap out ?

Wow.

Looking at the brown/green as my first real fountain pen. What type of nib is it? Any issues with writing? Any issues with the cartridge converter?

I’m looking to get it at nibs.com

You will likely have to wait a year or more to purchase a new Nakaya Urushi of any type from the artist. I think Richard's site mentions this caveat.

No issues at all on any side. Nib is a fine.

Tis is my 4th Nakaya and I still have all of them! So hard to let them go....

Thanks Charlock!

This is a VERY good one guys. If you have an opportunity, please do pick one up. You will not be sorry! Such craftsmanship! It has to be almost the perfect fountain pen if not the most perfect! Just the workmanship, urushi, time to create, and its writing design is more that can be acknowledged.

My compliments!

Remember that the average age of the workers at Nakaya is pushing 90. IIRC the youngest is in his 70s.

Crazy. Glad longevity is on their side!

Great pick up Richard. I done get to this subform much as I am usually on the Tapatalk app and only look at new threads. These never show up there.

Sorry I missed your question until now.

I have about 50 of them. Including 3 Hemingway FPs with boxes (at the moment, but will be putting 2 on the market soon). 2 Agatha Christie vermeils (one I will sell soon), and a good mix of other Writers series and moderns and vintage.

Just acquired a 132 long window that's mint! Really like that one!

Let me think about a group pic.
