I think I知 going to do it...I知 going to buy an Apple watch

1 for the family see how we like it.

Relative to the amount we spend on this hobby... 500 seems trivial for a watch like that... even a g show I can be 400

What y誕ll think?

I was given one, but didn't like the idea of charging my watch every day. Sold it.

Tried is a few times.

Always have it away.

I’m waiting for a nicer looking one. Something more like a watch.

Nope comes with the wireless charger...my son just picked one up yesterday. We are both in the Tech field and love our mechanical watches, but the Apple watch is an amazing piece!

I知 ignorant about the functions of Apple watches so take my uninformed opinion as being just that.

I don稚 need to be any more connected than I am with a smartphone in my pocket. Funnily enough since you mentioned them, I壇 buy several G-Shocks for the price of one Apple Watch. Indeed I find G-Shock shopping scratches the watch itch and gives that little dopamine hit without making a dent in my wallet. Furthermore a Tough Solar, whilst being nigh-on indestructible in day to day use unlike any wrist computer, will also outlast a smart watch by a couple of decades. You may have zero interest in Casios, but it痴 worth bearing in mind when comparing the costs.

WOW.

On a Rolex forum.

Be sure to wear a trench coat when you wear it.

So wrong.

I知 too much of a watch fanatic to have one (like most of us here). That痴 said, I知 seriously considering it for running though.

I like the idea of not having to carry my phone with me (although, not quite sure yet how much storage it has for music). Need to do some more research, I guess!

A lot depends on lifestyle and forward-looking utilization for a smartwatch to be a good fit for some. Although I知 a fan, not many older than a Millennial or GenZ foresee the utility.

What definitely peaked my interest is the health features .. ECG monitoring, fall detection, workout stats, sleep monitor (though I wish the sleep monitor was more robust, or the ability to connect to a headband or way to monitor REM sleep).

Cr@P! It even has a menstrual cycle monitor!! LOL ... great way for the guys to know when the wife/gf is in those highly emotional days of the month!

The Always On feature is cool and lot of people are going to use that ... though battery will suffer.

I will probably wait a while longer .. maybe for the 6?

What I don't like ... having to charge it nightly? If other smart watches can last several days, Apple should find a way for at least last 3 or 5 days?

I own Apple stock so I concur with your purchase. While in the store feel free to buy other objects of desire.

I can稚 see it. I知 sure there are some cool things about it but I知 already married to the phone and I can稚 see skipping wearing a real watch to wear one.

I知 waiting to the chip they want to embed in my forehead

I own one and love it for working out. I am a bit of a gym nut, so it is nice to see my heart rate for HIIT and allow the timing of intervals. I can honestly say I haven't gone out with it outside of the gym....but for what I need it to do, I like it.

I was planning on buying it for the kid for school but she doesn’t want it...but I think it’s useful to have phone access... so told her I’m buying it for the family.

I’ll wear it Here and there maybe she’ll end up liking it.

On sprint.. u get the phone for 50% off if u sign up for 24 months

So phone and service for 24 months is about 20 per month.

That’s 480 for 2 years

It’s happening once I get home. Have to call since no availability at the store

I’ve bought a s4 for my son for last years Christmas present.
That watch has become part of his body. He only takes it off when he’s in the shower and asleep.

I think they are awesome (especially the series 5) and I want to wear the Apple Watch and my Sub w/o looking like a DB. Anyone able to pull this off? I won’t part with my Rolex but really like the features of the Apple Watch.

My case is exactly the same. I went several times to the Apple Store with the desire of buying it but at the end I have always pass away.

My problem is that I don稚 like it as a watch but I have to recognized that as a tool it is gorgeous.

So I dream with an Apple Watch with different style. Let痴 see.

I got my partner one and she loves it. You need to have an apple phone for them to be of real use. I also gave a few out to key people at work as gifts, they all love them too.
