I was a one watch guy for a long time. Then I made the mistake of find TRF and meeting the enablers on here.

Currently an 11 watch guy and on the hunt for a couple more pieces

I think the smurf is an all in one package: sporty, dressy, adjustability (glidelock), PM. Do I miss something? This could be my 1 and only.

The best thing about being a one watch guy is an easy decision to make which watch to wear each day. The worst part is you have no choice

I think an explorer is a perfect sport/modern dress watch. Throw a leather Hermès band on it to dress it up. Perfect one watch to do it all.

That being said you add a sub or explorer II polar dial and that is a perfect collection for every scenario.

It's exciting trying new watches now & then but selling them and taking a loss is not .

Getting to the point where i realize NOT a 1 watch guy but.....

2-3 watches may work .. I have a new explorer 1 wasn't sure about it but think it's going to stick around & just picked up a Blue Pelagos and it's pretty cool -
Those 2 are very different and fight for wrist time .

I have a few to get rid of due to similar aspects - Monta Triumph too much like Explorer1 - Omega SMP Blue - very nice but only one blue diver needed - tough decision on this but me thinks Pelagos is in the lead
