Icon20 BLNR... and the nickname!?

Hello all... We all know models get nicknames, but why was the BLNR given the stupid 'Batman' label... surely it should have been called the Pan-Am, after all, this was the reason the watch was created, and the BLNR is in there old colours!!... Im, now going with 'Pan-Am'... much more classy!!!

This will be confusing because there are "PanAm" dials and using it as a nickname for the BLNR is just as stupid as Batman IMO.

Omg!! This just never stops. From one stupid nick name to another.

BLNR is just fine for me. And if an uninformed person doesn't know what that is, the blue and black bezel GMT seems to work. No one besides you will know what a pan-am is, I mean the airline doesn't even exist anymore.

I hate the Batman label TBH, not a fan of nicknames full stop... just thought I ask why it was not called the Pan-am... its the right colours and its a GMT, which was the company it was made for!!! Don't hate on me :(

I always thought that the Rolex forum was started to give information about the watches and the history of the RWC .Now it seems it's turned into some sort of kindergarten forum about silly nicknames.
