A big congrats! What a fantastic Monday for you! Very nice way to fill another slot in your watch box. I love your collection too. All beautiful pieces! Does the AD usually give the coffin if you request it? Or, is it a hit or miss type of thing and depends on the AD?

It’s an Elco, and it belong to the greatest, kindest most humble man I’ve ever known. A man that raised me from the age of 2, taught me right from wrong and was always there when I needed a helping hand...

A great big man with hands like shovels, a modest man that would give anyone the shirt off his back if he thought they needed it..

That man was my Grandad, he passed in 2002, and I still miss him.

It seems strange now that such a big chap would wear a watch of that size, but I suppose that was the style back then.

Regarding the coffin, every time I’ve asked for it, they’ve just handed it over.
I must be in the minority though, I think they usually just chuck them away.
