Keep saving for one you want.
By the way there is no entry level Rolex. It is urban myth.

If you need to "save" for a watch, do not do it... Plus, if you will get bored of it after 12 or so months, you will loose your hard saved money.

Good call.

Can you confirm that is a 39mm OP and what referance Reverso that is. I'm always looking at Reverso's online but am confused about the different sizes it comes in.

This is the OP 34mm. The Reverso is reference 272.8.54 with the Grande Taille case (42.5mm x 26mm x 9mm).

Love my 34mm OP blue. Have a sub date too, but wear the OP several times a week.
Classic, understated and awesome quality and finishing.

I totally agree with the advice below. - not trying to be negative here

NOW if you really want that OP, save up and get the watch you really want. Don't let anyone talk you into getting a Sub, GMT, or etc. At the end of the day, you'll be the one wearing it and plus you paid for it ;)

Good luck!

I think if OP needs to save for a watch, it would be foolish to buy anything other than the best entry level watch there is. Plus it being a Rolex, he won't lose too much of his money if he gets bored of it.

I do not want to be pessimistic or negative, but if you need to think twice to get the most affordable Rolex, do something else with your money. He will lose money if he will sell, because you need patience to find the very right buyer. And usually those in need are not. However, we are big boys here (I hope... ) , so honestly I wish to enjoy whatever he decides to buy in good health!!!!
