Congrats!! I have found that with Tudor it is better to buy with the bracelet and purchase an aftermarket leather strap. The one exception to me is the new Tudor rivet bracelets. I have not bonded with them yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I tried one on the other day at my AD and asked about the movement. He said it was the in house. Don't know if he's right but that's what he said.

What an underrated watch the Ranger is. You have to see it in the metal to fully "get it," IMO. On the wrist, it wears like a dream. Substantial, yet much thinner and more comfortable than other modern Tudor sportswatches I've had - which, as a result, makes the Tudor bracelet even more comfortable than normal.
Lastly, the pre-owned price online is ridiculously low. I know it isn't the most popular model, cause of its simplicity, but you can absolutely steal one of these on the forums right now. |

Anyone wearing theirs on a non OEM bracelet? If so, do you have any pictures, can you compare it to the Tudor bracelet? I would prefer to pick up the ranger pre-owned on the bracelet, but if I get a really good deal on one that only comes on the leather strap, I want to be able to consider it if there's a good secondary option for bracelet. Giving it has straight end links on the OEM bracelet, this opens up some aftermarket options.

I added a new Haveston Squadron strap today. Beautiful color and very supple.

Good afternoon Adam and all the watch lovers. I wear a Ranger every day and love it. My son and I also have ETA Black Bays, mine is blue his is red. Still, I'm in the Ranger and he never takes off his BB. My question is, as cool as the straight end link bracelet is, does someone make a bracelet with solid end links? I love the look of the late 60's Oyster Prince Ranger on bracelet and think the modern Ranger would kill on it. Thoughts?

I really like the Tudor Heritage Ranger and North Flag lines. I just wish Tudor would update them instead of constantly pumping out Black Bays.

Had one for a while, on a distressed leather strap. Very legible, durable, my son has his eye on it. I bought it because it's a classic no nonsense watch. I'm not good enough for pictures but I'll give it a try.

Haven't posted here for a while. Still enjoying this one after more than six years. The good old ETA movement is still running pretty much spot on.

You know Adam I’ve heard you say many times that you prefer the Ranger over the Explorer. Having owned both watches I can see where you’re coming from. The Ranger isn’t a fancy watch but there is something about it that is quite charming.

Like you, owning both the Ranger and Explorer, I have a special thing for the Ranger. Its beauty is in its timeless humble utilitarian simplicity. And it has great styling. |

I have had my Heritage Ranger for just over 3 years now.
When I bought it (second hand) it kept acceptable time, losing just a few seconds a day. Then it just stopped working and was returned to Tudor under guarantee. It came back and was losing a couple of minutes a week. At the end of last year this loss increased to 5-7 mins a week. As it has an ETA 2824/2 movement I decided I would take it to a local jeweller to get his thoughts (well out of guarantee now). Time keeping is now fantastic. I have had it back for three days and it has lost just one second over that time. So pleased I didn’t go down the very expensive Tudor route |
