1.5 link just arrived by Fedex and I installed it and have now achieved the perfect fit! I just wish AP made a half link instead of the 1.5 link because it is a bit disproportional and unsightly compared to the standard 1.0 links, and I feel a half link would have a cleaner more integrated appearance. Either way, I still love it. Here’s a photo showing the unusually large 1.5 link....

You do realise wishing for the impossible is a daft proposition?
Common sense dictates there’s absolutely no way to engineer a link that’s half the width, yet still function and look like the standard ones.
Just look at that photo, draw a line down the middle of a link, and then figure out how you’d connect it to the others whilst retaining articulation!

This,AP links are too small for a 1/2 link , same thing with the Rolex day date that's why they make a 1.5 link instead of a half link.

Thanks, I didn't realize that until you mentioned it as most other watches have half links available. Great point!

That would drive me absolutely bonkers. But then again, so would an improper fit.

Damn-it if life weren’t all about compromise!

Gorgeous piece. Enjoy every moment with it!

I moved the 1.5 link over to the other side so that I wouldn’t see it as easily when turning my wrist over. Out of sight out of mind....

CongraTulations! Blue looks amazing! I also had to get a 1.5 link for my 7 inch wrist. Still feels a bit tight on warm days, but it’s the best fit.

Beautiful. Congrats. I also suggest a rubber strap for comfort and to switch up the look. Beats buying a new watch!
