I've heard you can get it replaced at a RSC as long as that specific model was released with a blue dial option. I have mine with the blue dial but was thinking of getting the green one, and was given this advice from my AD.

I decided to go with this as my daily work watch. I really enjoy everything about this piece. It can dress up or down very well. I can move easily between this size and the 44mm that I wear with casual dress. I actually prefer the feel of this size.

Greetings everyone, lovely watches!!!

Ok, long story short.....I am in the process of trading two newer model Datejust's plus a few pesos for my first Day Date.

I was offered a Oyster band and a classic model with President band.

Both watches are new style(2006-or later).

Just curious as to how much stretch I should expect from the Oyster/President? This will be my daily for the forseeable future.

Does one maintain better than the other?

Thanks-Scott

whatever you do don't get a day date on an oyster bracelet when you're trading two datejusts for it. it should be on a president bracelet. stretch is not really an issue if you clean it regularly

You and recaro18 could possibly both get what want, for the cost of one. That is, IF you/BzKneez can indeed swap for a green dial, y’all could perhaps first swap your WG/blue dial for recaro18’s WG/white at an independent watch shop, then send in yours with the white dial on it to RSC, to get your green one.

Just a thought ...

Not a President at the moment...took off the YG bracelet to have a clean and to change it up a bit. Kinda like it. A little less bling without.

I'm sure the bracelet will find its way back on.

I inherited this piece from my dad.

Looks spectacular.
I am also looking for a blue dial for my 18239.
Where did you find your?

Can they still be ordered by the RSC?

17 years ago I purchased a white gold day date presidential. It was a 37 which was the make and look back then. Years go by and about two weeks ago I was at my AD chatting, at the end of which he bought back my 17 year old white gold 37 day date presidential and (after paying the difference) I walked out with a new 40. I have to say, I love it! And my eyes are also 17 years older so the larger dial is a plus! All the talk lately seems to be about the sports watches. Daytona, sea sweller, GMT and so on.... (and in the spirit of full transparency I admit to buying in and buying several different models for the collection). I was so happy to find this thread. Does the presidential still rank supreme among all Rolex brands in the hearts and minds of Rolex fans? It should. It is an awesome watch!
