Patek Philippe Quartz at Tourneau

I did not know Patek made a quartz . . . And for $13,000. The salesman was shocked too. I assume it was real. Anyone have any more info on these, I typed Patek and Quartz in the same search on google and got ALOT of fake/replica sites.

Oh, I wouldn't even go there. Think what you can buy for 13K. Larry.

Exploding - Now listen to Uncle Puffnmo & Uncle Paulie - Don't even think about it. Lie down until it passes .

THEN - Go and buy a Rolex Daytona, and put the money you saved in the bank. Larry.

Yes indeed. Patek makes a number of watches with quartz movements. Google their Aquanaut Luce or their Twenty-4 for a couple of examples. I think the movements are PP Caliber E 15 and E 23 SC respectively.

I personally wouldn't spend that kind of money on a quartz movement, but PP's cases and bracelets are lovely. But for 13K, I'd want their yellow gold Calatrava with their manually wound Caliber 215 PS movement. That's one beautiful, classic dress watch that will surely hold it's value as well as any Rolex.

I don't want the watch, I don't think I have ever seen a Patek I would want to own.

Just was kinda weird to see a Patek tick.

Patek makes Quartz watches mostly for women. Women don't like setting automatic watches.
