214270 noob question
Hi guys
Can anyone help out? Searched this forum and the internet but can't seem to find an answer. I've fallen in a big way for the simplicity and symmetry of the 2016 Explorer 214270. I've got a 97200 bracelet I bought from a forum member here and I'd like to know if it would fit the 214270 case, or failing that, just the glidelock clasp on the Explorer bracelet. I know it seems a bit odd given that the native bracelet has the easylink, but here in Dubai it's either spontaneous human combustion outside or freezing cold inside and little in between. At least for me continuous micro adjustment is a way of life! |

I don't know if it will fit. But I know the 214270 is an amazing watch, very comfortable, and the easylink is fantastic --more than enough adjustment for most cases. Congrats on getting this one!

Not sure if the whole bracelet will fit, but if all else fails you should be able to just swap out the clasp. Both clasps are 16mm in width so it should be very straightforward. I'm thinking of doing the same with mine actually.
That being said the easylink clasp and bracelet on the 214270 makes it the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. There's no hurry on my end to swap it out just yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
