Studying hard and needed something to cheer me up!

Big test tomorrow night so I had to take some wrist pics to cheer me up while I study! Once this test is over April is shaping up to be a very exciting month for me! Heading off to Orlando for a cruise in a couple of weeks to celebrate and I will be sure to visit davidSW as well. I cant believe there is a watch store on the boat with Omega...etc. no Rolex tho :(. I also found a 70's 1675 locally that I should have by the end of the week with full set from original owner (sold blnr to make room)! I hope everyone else has a great month as well!!!

Josh

Sounds like a great month! Excited to see your 1675, love a vintage GMT. Have you taken the stickers off your 16610LV? How you enjoying your 5 digits?

No stickers off yet but still wearing it around the house for enjoyment! Loving the 5 digits. I don't see myself going back to 6 unless its a ceramic daytona or skydweller in steel. Will post pics of the 1675 for sure on Friday hopefully!

Good call, I get where you are coming from. They just feel special on the wrist. Timeless. Can't wait to see the GMT Incoming thread

Good luck on your test!! 1675 sounds like a keeper. I personally like the 5's better than the 6's as well.

I'm pretty sure it will be hard for Josh to focus on his studies with those distractions around and another incoming.

Josh, I have been following your chronicles, and have enjoyed every minute of it!

I know you have had some hefty pieces. My question is about the 5 digit's or even 4 now, and how the tuna can clasp fits without the adjustment that you have come to love in the sub's for example, and a lesser extent with the Easy-link.

The clasp fits great. There are 7 holes for adjustment and I carry a Rolex 2100 tool in my day bag just in case

Just wondering, how did you find the 1675. Craiglists/local ads?
