Rolex 16803 Unusual faded???

Hey Guys!

So i was trawling through C24, just looking. And i stumbled upon this 16803, with a rather faded dial, almost greyish.. I have seen them around a couple of times, but i got me wondering. Is this level of faded directly linked to sun exposure? And is there any specifics to be aware of, if in search of a 16803 with such dial?

Next to the dial, there is the immensely faded bezel insert, which i'll find rather intriguing. Can the blue insert of this model really fade this much?

Sorry for the newbie questions, i just sort a fell in love with it, and im looking for one now, but i seems like its such a niche, that i am very unsure what to look for on it.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards
- Christian

I don't think bezel is original, hands don't match rest of the dial, and I dont think that's the correct dial. Plus I believe the bezel on the "bluesy" has gold markers. What's the selller's explanation?
