Stock with two watches
Just purchased the black ss ceramic steel Daytona and the green sub for me and my wife but after getting I felt the the watch is to small for my wrist and the green sub is to big for my wife.

Was this the result of impulse buying? In other words, to what extent did you research prior to buying?

Size really does matter.
Have a look at Explorer II 42 mm for yourself in either balck or white dial and 36mm or 31mm Datejust for your wife. |

If the watch pictured in your avatar (YM2?) is yours, and that's your wrist, it looks huge. The daytona should fit well, imo.

I can help with your problem. I'll gladly buy the SS Daytona C off of you at full retail so you may purchase a bigger watch for yourself.
In all seriousness unless you have an 8.5" meat hook the SS Daytona should fit you fine. If it really bothers you put down an order for the new SD. |

It's no YM-II; but I think the switch theory is a palpable one.
