Tried on a few Patek Philppe Watches today.

Hi Guys,

I tried on a few Patek Philppe watches when I was at the AD today. Wow they make a fine watch.

It was not busy at all so the sales person was able to let me handle a 5101P 10 Day Tourbillon it was a bit out of my price range at 380K (CAD).

I like the 5119 Calatrave model. It was going for only 18K. How much does this model sell for in the USA? Same price or much cheeper?

Maybe someday for now I will stick with Rolex.

Take Care,

Eric

Hi Eric
Many thatnks for your thread.
I always like to read about other members experiences of seeing and trying PP watches.
I too have seen the 10 day tourbillon but its one that I'm not particularly keen on. Maybe the price tag of over £100,000 may have something to do with it.
I shall be window browsing soon in London, so I intend to call in at the PP boutique as well as WEMPE's
And next month - I can't wait, I going to the home of Swiss watches.
PP museum, here I come.

Ahhh, another PP customer in the waiting!

the 10 day is indeed superlative. a more affordable watch with similar styling is the 5124... available in white or yellow gold.

the 5124 can be a great affordable watch if you like the 10 days tourbillon.
At 1/14 th of the price it's a bargain LOL

Got to fondle a few PP's while touring the watch shops with the London TRF GTG gang. Very nice indeed. Great pics, unknown.

Yes, the parent company of Birks now owns Brinkhaus.

Now you can get a new Patek on credit throughout Birks (10 or 20 months with no int.)

This can be dangerous, what is 380K for a 5101P 10 Day Tourbillon over 20 months. Too much
