If I were you, I’d go for the no regret option.... (1)

Which is the best 4 watch collection?
My current 4 would be what I have in rotation now:
5712 (blue dial) 5990 (gray dial) 5726 (white dial) 116515 (RG chocolate Dial) I don’t like having overlapping watches/dials. The 1st 3 always remain in my top 4 and I rotate the 4th....Rolex, AP, Panerai....it all depends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I had to chose option 2 above, but if I could choose any 4, I would add an AP roc chrono( I have the 26320), a Journe ( I have the centigraphe), a Lange( I have the Grande Lange 1 MP) and the 5712 above( I have a 5205). I had the 5167 and found it boring. Sub is good if you really swim in it. I also like the daytona.

#3 by far. I don't know what's good about FP Journe CB.

I'd go 5164 for swimming/beach/weekends (I've just bought one and have worn nothing else for a month, I love it);
Anything by FP Journe for formal but preferably the Octa Calendrier; A Nautilus but with complication, my favourite is the new(ish)5726 with blue face (and hopefully my next pick-up); Lastly a Lange Datograph. Have to have a Lange in any collection IMHO |
