Which Rolex for a "daily beater"? None of them. I don't beat my watches.

Tough call, but the 114060 would be my one and only.

I wouldn't have a Rolex as a beater but if I could only have on watch it would be either a white dial Oyster Perpetual 39mm or a white dial Daytona ceramic. If I could only have one Rolex it would be a 114060.

It’s hard to chose because none of them have all the features I want in a collection of watches. I guess if I had to chose just one for the rest of my life it would be one I don’t own currently. If it looked good on my wrist a black dial 216570. Very legible with a very legible GMT feature and as I get older I’ll need that legibility.
If not a Rolex there is a Breitling Chronomat B04 GMT that has it all; dive bezel, 500m depth rating, chronograph, GMT hand and a date. Although at 47 mm it’s probably too big for me. I guess I’ll stick to the Midnight Explorer II |

Picked it up new 3 weeks ago. Getting the most wrist time. If things continue this way. I might even be able to be a OWG.IMG_20180727_144303~01~01.jpeg

If I could only own one - it would be the one I bought first - a 36 mm, DJ, Jubilee, Fluted. It has been perfect over the last 25 years as a daily wear watch. I now have more - so it sits for days in the winder - but I still really like the watch.

This one. Purchased it specifically to be a daily wearer, and I should say it has been serving it's role extremely well!

This ones really comfortable. I’d probably keep it or something else fairly simple. Maybe one of these. Nothing too fancy.
