Thoughts on Everest Nylon bands?

After using the search tool, a lot of stuff comes up about Everest bands, mostly good, but I can't seem to find anything on the new(er) Nylon band they make. I've got a GMT IIc that I'm looking to dress down a little bit from time to time, and I think the grey nylon might look pretty cool.

Does anyone have experience with these? What are your thoughts?

(Picture is of the black band, but I'd be getting the grey; even Everest's IG account doesn't have any pictures of the grey band with GMT IIc LN).

They look cool but my first thought was that $240 USD is asking a lot.

True, especially when you look at their perforated leather strap costing the same amount, but let's be honest, a $250 rubber strap is pretty out there, too. But they seem to be selling and people think they are worth it...

I bought a grey nylon for my 114060 with the view that it would take some weight off for the summer months. It was simply too stiff and wore it 2 times and now it is in my drawer. I wanted to love it but wrist comfort will tell you what you want - always.. .

Rubber B makes an all rubber one but you would have to source end links. I'm pretty sure it will fit a gmt II ceramic

Yea he can do that or just go for the "tool" look if he likes. I did it on my subC. It's back on the oyster now and will switch back next month or so. Nothing beats the good ol oyster as many comments above.

Thoughts on Everest Nylon bands?

I like the Everest (rubber strap) on my GMT. I chose the buckle option, rather than to install the factory deployment. (I tend to be hard on my watches.). I primarily use the stock bracelet but enjoy the Everest strap - mostly in the summer.

I happen to like the look.

Do you think it has the potential to soften up a bit with wear? I wear my GMT almost every day, and I've noticed with other nylon NATO straps that once they become wet and worn until dry, they often soften up rather quickly.

To each his own, I simply like a little variety every now and then, especially in the summer months.

Well, we all know what they say about opinions... Kidding, but really I'm just looking to switch it up.

This looks nice, but I would prefer a fitted end without an end link. The Everest is all one piece and actual nylon, which breathes better than rubber. That said, I like the look of the textured rubber and could see that on my Seiko Marinemaster 300.

I like it in pictures, but I have enough rubber straps on dive watches already. Although, I have a drawer full of NATOs, as well...

Strongly suggest the GREEN rubber band from Everest! It really makes the GMT Hand and text pop.

I had the Triumph watch and it came with some Everest style nato straps. They were really nice straps and I liked the hardware on them. But they were a little thick for my watch.

Good catch. I did not know they made one of them know. I do have to say everything I have seen from them has been great. So I would be lead to believe this one is worth the price also.
