Buying & drinking Beer not good..!

So I have always wanted to get into some serious and I mean serious headphones and this afternoon after to many Stellas I got on the B&H website and ordered me a $4000.00 & $2500.00 set of headphones plus a serious headphone amplifier.. Paid for next day by noon and will be here Thursday by noon..

Yah that too and now drinking more beer after a 10k drop..:) I been drooling over these for quite sometime and anxious for the stuff to arrive in the am and yes with pictures... :)

I now understand how people feel when they can’t understand buying watches that cost 10k lol. I cannot fathom headphones that expensive. Clearly they must be awesome!

Why did you buy the cheaper set of HP if you bought the utopia?

I had focal in my car a few years back and they were really good. You could turn them up as high as you like and no distortion. They were best for rock and stood out in terms of mids and highs more so than lows.

I happen to be on a senior low budget income and this was all I could conjure up at the moment. Sure hope they don't disappoint me ..!

I wanted the Sennheiser combo along with a 2nd pair of headphones that were different. No real reason at all but hopefully i will like them when they arrive this am...

Excellent choice going with the Utopia. They scale incredibly well with upstream gear, as well as sounding great out of an iPhone. Give them plenty of time to burn in before evaluating them. These are TOTL headphones.

I know I’m going to sound like a fun sucking father ... but be careful with headphones and volume level. I have tinnitus for years as the result of too much loud music.

Excellent advice. It's easy to get pulled into the music and turn the volume up too loud without realizing you're damaging you hearing, permanently.

Graduated high school in 72 and may have had a pair of headphones on a hand full of times if that. I am more of a gadget guru then a fine lister of music. I will am sure try them out but my life won't be spent on them like it is on my bicycle :)
