I can appreciate watches made at a wide variety of price points. I only own Rolex and Panerai currently.

Sort of similar, after buying AP and PP I have come back to the brands I bought before Rolex and have bought a Breitling and Omega again and really fancy a Tag Monaco again, had the black dial before now fancy the blue.

It’s you- I am almost the opposite. I don’t pay attention or have any interest in lower end watches. I also don’t feel the need to have beaters. If I am doing something that could damage the watch, I simply don’t wear one.

Not really, mid-range stuff doesn't do anything for me except perhaps Speedmaster due to heritage. I do appreciate G-shock immensely, even considering getting a 2-3000 MR-G.

Personally I have discovered that apart from Rolex I like 'high finishing' like on Grand Seiko and Lange and I should not spend money on lower end watches since I anyway don't appreciate them.

I think it’s a subconscious effort to feel relaxed wearing a more affordable watch. You probably don’t stress as much about damaging the watch.

I tried out a bunch of low end watches while trying to save for my rolexes and hated every single one of them except g shocks. I realized I’m not into watches, just rolexes.

I own a lot of different watches at different price points. My most expensive watch is a Rolex DD II in Platinum and my least expensive is a Undone Chrono off ebay. I enjoy them all but sometimes I just want to wear the Rolex but most of the time I wear Grand Seiko/Seiko, Tudor, Omega or Panerai. I just go with what I want that day.

Yup, its also good for my mental maths as when I put one of these on I always think damn this is amazing value compared to my others and I do all the multiples, crazy now as some of the PPs have more than doubled in value, and they were no bargain to begin with. Your Casio to 5712 one would break even Rachel Riley

It was only $300, so I thought what the heck. But then I just didn't bond with it, I wasn't enjoying wearing it. And I realized that the $300 was 10% of a Tudor. So, I decided I would rather have the money back to use towards something else.

I wear my Sub swimming, in the gym, in the ocean, chilling on the beach, everywhere. Insurance covers theft, loss, and accidental damage. I've paid almost $500 in premiums over the last seven years, so I will use it if i need it.

I tried to dabble into other brands but always come back to rolex!
I understand there are “higher” brands but to me I always circle back to rolex!
There’s something mesmerizing about that crown!!

It’s just you, brother! LOL

I really enjoy the fine timepiece aspect, so anytime I go more toward the budget end, I bounce back toward Rolex, AP, etc.

True. That’s why I avoid moving pieces around then wanting it again. So I just don’t sell.

I think it's a cycle. I love having both ends of the spectrum. My dad turned me onto Oris watches and I have to admit they are gorgeous tanks that I truly love. I only have one, but I am hunting for another one. Enjoy owning all of your pieces. I think being able to appreciate all types of watches (expensive, cheap, automatic, quartz) means you are a true enthusiast.

I rotate through all my watches 1 week each at a time irregardless of brand. I enjoy each watch for its own unique merits. I do find myself missing my Rolex and Tudors when they are on the bench though.

I’d like to wear my OP 39 everyday, but it’s too tight, or too loose. I’ve tried everything, but realize it’s impossible without a half link. Even with this problem, I’m still forcing myself to wear it most days.
