Was just glad to get my Daytona and get out. The store owner tried to get my wife to try on several diamond rings

Like many others I enjoy a give-away as it adds to the experience however it needs to be practical. A wonder, watch box, travel case, pen etc. Things such as umbrellas, T shirts, baseball hats are IMO cringeworthy

I went and it was a great day. Great hospitality from Rolex and a fantastic view of the famous 18th hole.

Martin Kaymer came in after his round for a Q & A session. You missed out on a great day.

Yeah I agree with this. I wouldn't walk around with any rolex branded apparel personally

A local AD gave me a list of jewelry I need to buy in order to be listed for SS sport models.

This blew me away.... my AD and I had been talking about him getting me a Rolex travel case, only for him to research it and tell me he can’t find any such case anywhere, which I was pretty surprised by.

Fast forward a few Months: He texts me saying he has a gift for me, something very unexpected, after coming back from a regional Rolex meeting.
Lo and behold, Rolex surprised him with a gift of a Rolex travel case while at the meeting, which he in turn decided to surprise me with, knowing how much I wanted one. He said it’s the first such case he’s ever seen:

That's a great case. I received mine in June when I bought my OP 39mm. I asked if they had any leather wallets they could give me with my purchase. The sales lady came out with this watch roll. I was very happy to get this case. I'd rather this than the wallet I was hoping for.

I've received a lot of items from Rolex. Keychain, swiss knife, sunglasses, windjacket, caps... Just never a watch-roll which is what I want the most. I've requested my Patek dealer to give me a 2 or 3 watch roll, but they've yet to receive that. Patek does make the better watch roll of the two in comparison.

I get golf balls fairly regularly and I think most ADs get golf balls from Rolex on the regular...with the intention of customers getting them. But many ADs golf, too, so they stay hidden.

Ask! They have them or they can get them (Pro V too!).

This and a guided tour. I’m very appreciative for that or else it would be a boring clueless museum tour. I would say I really learned a lot behind the watchmaking and its heritage.

A good laugh. The local AD in my area is having a 5 million dollar diamond clearance. I guess the bundling scam is coming to an end and people aren't willing to spend an extra 100K on shiny rocks to get "super rare" pepsis. LOL.. If they weren't so smug, I'd feel sorry for them. I bought mine online, and I'll buy the next one there too.

Could be to pay for a Rolex renovation. They cost easily upwards of that when they need to expand.
