First thing I hate about my Sub date
When the minute hand is in the 15-18 range and you can’t tell the exact time because of the cyclops. I’m just nitpicking. I think we all love our subs haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess you need to trade it in for a sub no date.

GMT's are worse, too busy when everything is over at 3.00 or 15.00. 5 digit sub 14060/14060M or Explorer or Daytona White is the answer. Daytona BD is difficult, 114060 is ugly. MG has an ugly second hand, AK is hideous. DJ 41 is just a little big. SD43 and DS are for Italian Americans. YM 2's forget about it. YM40 Blue is a good one.

If it were a 5 digit (no AR under cyclops) all you need is a knife and small hammer. Quick tap and the problem is solved. |

You do know that the very first sub doesn’t have a cyclops.... Right?

The cyclops is ugly for some of us. I'm in that camp. Before you buy a Rolex it's important to know it the silly bump will bug you.

...and if I had my time again I would have got a Submariner Date, instead of the Submariner. They were both in the AD window, available to buy brand new at retail back in 2016. I picked the 114060...but need a date.

I purchased one of these as liked the look, but had to send it back, as it felt too large (appreciate that it is quite small for a G Shock) on my small wrist. Bought a full metal square £450 with negative display in the end...now can’t read the time in certain light.
